3.1 Strictly necessary
These technologies support authentication, account security, fraud prevention, load balancing, service delivery, and the preservation of your privacy choices. They cannot be switched off through the consent tool because the requested service cannot operate properly without them.
Providers may include Clerk, AWS, AWS CloudFront, Vercel and VSL's consent-management implementation.
3.2 Analytics and performance
VSL uses PostHog to understand website and product usage, diagnose problems and improve performance.
PostHog may process page views, clicks, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, feature interactions, identifiers and masked session information.
PostHog event analytics and session replay remain disabled until you accept analytics through the consent tool. When enabled, operational analytics events may be retained for up to 12 months and session replay for no more than 90 days, according to VSL's configured settings.
3.3 Customer support
Where VSL enables an Intercom support widget, it may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain a support conversation, identify an authenticated customer and remember support preferences.
Any Intercom technology that is not strictly necessary for a support feature you request will remain off until the appropriate choice has been made.
3.4 Embedded media and third-party content
Pages may include video, audio or other content supplied by third parties. Those providers may use their own technologies when content is loaded or played. Where required, VSL will delay non-essential third-party content until you make the relevant choice.
3.5 Advertising
VSL does not currently use advertising or behavioural-targeting cookies on the website. If this changes, VSL will update this Notice and the consent tool before activating them.
